CD1d Tetramers
|
We are pleased to announce the availability of both human and mouse CD1d molecules as tetramer reagents loaded with an analogue of the alphaGalCer ligand PBS57 that was developed in Dr. Paul B. Savage's laboratory at Brigham Young University (Y. Liu et al. 2006. J Immunol Methods. 312:34-9). Detection of human and mouse CD1d-positive cells using CD1d tetramers loaded with PBS57 is shown below. Please note, both human and mouse CD1d reagents are generated with their species-matched b2m light chains.

Staining with CD1d tetramers. Panel A shows staining of human whole blood with human CD1d (hCD1d) tetramer loaded with PBS57 ligand (two graphs to the right). Gated lymphocytes were analyzed either by hCD1d versus CD3 or by overlaying hCD1d-positively stained cells onto a CD8 versus CD3 graph (hCD1d subset is indicated in blue color). No hCD1d staining was detected with empty loaded hCD1d tetramer (left graph). Panel B represents staining of mouse splenocytes with mouse CD1d (mCD1d) tetramer loaded with PBS57 (right).
